QUALITY POLICY

VME has created, maintained, and continuously improved our management system according to the latest revision of the ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020 and all other applied standards and our accrediting body’s requirements.

We undertake great efforts to preserve the impartiality and operational integrity of the analysis complying with the provisions of national laws and the ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020 and all other applied standards.

Our laboratory and inspection body personnel adhere to a rigorous Quality Management System to ensure customer satisfaction when using our services. All personnel involved in the services offered by VME are familiar with the quality control documentation and understand the management policies and working procedures and work as a team to continually improve towards the effectiveness of the management system.

Top management is committed to conforming with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, all other applied standards and our accrediting body’s requirements. We will continually assess and improve the effectiveness of this management system as appropriate.

The purpose of the management system is to define a standard approach for providing the highest quality service to our customers thereby building customer confidence in the validity of results our laboratory and inspection body provides. Moreover, the management system ensures continuity despite changes in personnel or management. The quality manual serves as a communication tool as well as a training tool for new employees.

VME ensures continuous compatibility management system (using documented procedures and monitoring of management system).

It is critical that all personnel conform with the requirements of the Management System, our customer requirements, as well as the relevant regulatory authority’s requirements. Therefore, all personnel performing laboratory or inspection activities shall be familiar with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020 and all other applied standards, customer requirements, the quality manual as well as other procedures and work instructions that affect the quality of work.

All testing and/or inspection activities shall be carried out in accordance with this company Management System, stated methods and our customers’ requirements. Our standard for service will exceed our customer expectations for accurate, repeatable and impartial test results.

Personnel must be competent to perform laboratory and/or inspection activities and demonstrate impartiality on a consistent basis.

VME is committed to providing customers with professional high-quality service ensuring that the test and/or inspections are carried out with high standards of service so as to achieve customer satisfaction, accuracy in results and timely dispatch of reports/certificates and to continuously meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.

Laboratory and/or inspection body maintain healthy relationships with the customer by cooperating with them or their representatives in clarifying request, monitoring results of activities etc.

VME aims to meet legal requirements and other requirements.

Reliable results in testing, calibration and inspection services are guaranteed by strict professional practices throughout the services provided.

Our commitment is demonstrated through ongoing participation in activities that assess and ensure the quality and integrity of this system.

VME has a well-designed measurement assurance system which provides confidence and credibility in the quality of the laboratory’s measurement results by ensuring that the measurement results are metrologically traceable.

Taking all necessary actions during the work processes for the elimination, minimization, isolation for risk control of  health and safety for the employees of the company and the public.

Ensuring the highest level of information security by continuously improving the processes and activities that process important data of employees, customers, and third parties related to the company. This is ensured by maintaining the confidentiality of the internal information it possesses as well as the external information to which the company has access (customer and supplier information with which the company cooperates, etc.).

Ensuring the availability of the necessary information in the work processes within the company, towards the clients and to the interested parties based on its classification according to the procedures of the Management System.

To implement the quality policy, VME has defined the quality objectives described at P.24: Management of Objectives.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY, CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND IMPARTIALITY POLICY

Confidentiality
VME operates in the field of testing and inspections in full compliance with the confidentiality policy it has implemented and maintains. Confidentiality to our partners is maintained by all members of the company. This commitment is documented with the statement of confidentiality they sign. Preserving confidentiality is continuously monitored through the procedures operated by the VME company where sensitive information of our partners is managed only by management authorized personnel. They use this information only in accordance with this policy and the interests of the entity subject to this information. Also, even if under the legislation we are obliged to communicate different information to the competent bodies, this will only happen with the notification and consent of the entity subject of this information.

Conflict of Interest
Conflict of interest as an incompatibility between the position of work that a VME employee has, with direct or indirect personal interests, must necessarily be reported by the employee concerned. Management and Quality Manager then decide to remove it from activities that are in conflict with this policy. Everything is monitored in accordance with this policy and declarations signed by any employee of the VME company. Also, if a previous conflict interest situation is found that has not been reported by the employee subject of this conflict, would constitute a serious breach of the company’s rules, and consequently interruption of employment relationships with this employee.

Impartiality
VME company considers impartiality as a necessity to provide a quality and trustworthy service to its customers. This non-negotiable criteria VME provides through identifying at the very beginning of the risks that affect their impartiality and their elimination. Grouped they appear mostly in the following forms.

  • Compromised impartiality as a result of the fear that a VME employee might have. Through open or hidden threats, the employee may not provide impartial service.
  • Compromised impartiality as a result of the familiarity that the VME employee may have with the client, by not verifying the data itself needed for evaluation but by accepting the welfare of the client.
  • Compromised impartiality as a result of the direct personal interests of the individual or organism.
  • Compromised impartiality as a result of self-review. This risk is reflected in situations when an individual or body reviews a job he or she has previously carried out.

All of these risks are monitored and documented during management reviews on the RP.21-1 form.
